We are a medium-sized manufacturing company. Contract manufacturing for the chemical industry is our core business. Our customers include small, innovative start-ups as well as international corporations. Our services include the processing of chemical products and their filling and packaging in a wide variety of containers. Our products can be found, for example, in car tires, plastics, paints, and varnishes, or are used in the home and garden or in agriculture. We also offer consulting services, procurement of raw materials and packaging materials, storage, and transport handling. Our team includes colleagues with technical and commercial training, with and without a background in chemistry, as well as semi-skilled workers, all of whom have challenging tasks.

Your tasks as Chemist (m/f/d):

You will spend the semester breaks and practical phases at our company, where you will work in various departments and on a wide range of projects. You will study at the TH Nuremberg over seven semesters. In the 3-semester foundation course, you will be well prepared in the mathematical and scientific subjects as well as in the disciplines of technology, chemistry and biochemistry. The practical semester takes place in the fourth semester. In semesters five and six, you will deepen your knowledge in your chosen field of study, such as technical chemistry, and in the basic chemical subjects, including organic and physical chemistry. You will complete your studies with a combined project and Bachelor's thesis in semester seven, which will earn you the academic title of Bachelor of Science. By alternating between university and company assignments, you will acquire theoretical and practical knowledge that will optimally prepare you for your professional future at FormiChem GmbH.
