We are a medium-sized manufacturing company. Contract manufacturing for the chemical industry is our core business. Our customers include small, innovative start-ups as well as international corporations. Our services include the processing of chemical products and their filling and packaging in a wide variety of containers. Our products can be found, for example, in car tires, plastics, paints, and varnishes, or are used in the home and garden or in agriculture. We also offer consulting services, procurement of raw materials and packaging materials, storage, and transport handling. Our team includes colleagues with technical and commercial training, with and without a background in chemistry, as well as semi-skilled workers, all of whom have challenging tasks.

Your tasks as Process Engineer (m/f/d):

You will spend the semester breaks and practical phases at our company, where you will work in various departments and on a wide range of projects. You will study at the TH Nuremberg for seven semesters. In the four-semester foundation course, you will lay the foundations in the basic mathematical and scientific subjects. The practical semester takes place in the sixth semester. From the fifth semester onwards, you will choose a specialization, for example general process engineering. You will complete your studies with a combined project and Bachelor's thesis in the seventh semester, which will earn you the academic title of Bachelor of Engineering. By alternating between university and company assignments, you will acquire theoretical and practical knowledge that will optimally prepare you for your future career at FormiChem GmbH.

Prerequisites:

• Gute schulische Leistungen, (Fach-)Abitur
• Interesse an technischen, ingenieurwissenschaftlichen und naturwissenschaftlichen Fragestellungen
• Team- und Kommunikationsfähigkeit
• Belastbarkeit und Zielstrebigkeit
• Eine abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung wäre von Vorteil
