We are a medium-sized manufacturing company. Contract manufacturing for the chemical industry is our core business. Our customers include small, innovative start-ups as well as international corporations. Our services include the processing of chemical products and their filling and packaging in a wide variety of containers. Our products can be found, for example, in car tires, plastics, paints, and varnishes, or are used in the home and garden or in agriculture. We also offer consulting services, procurement of raw materials and packaging materials, storage, and transport handling. Our team includes colleagues with technical and commercial training, with and without a background in chemistry, as well as semi-skilled workers, all of whom have challenging tasks.

Your responsibilities as a Process Technician / Assistant (m/f/d):

Compliance with all legal and internal requirements to ensure safety at all times

Configuration and operation of machinery for chemicals (solid and liquid substances) according to predefined plant parameters.

Executing and documenting production orders in accordance with established work processes, as well as conducting accompanying inspections and recording the use of materials (verifying the identity of delivered raw materials and packaging materials; scanning raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods).

Conducting random quality control checks and documenting the results in accordance with specifications.

Taking samples in accordance with specifications.

Inventorying and returning residual raw materials and packaging materials after production is complete

Maintaining order and cleanliness in the workplace at all times

Thorough cleaning of equipment, units, and operating resources after each production order

Shift handover, taking into account current issues, the shift’s performance, and the production status

Compliance with guidelines and measures to prevent contamination

Proper documentation of, for example, changes to equipment parameters to inform subsequent shifts as thoroughly as possible and ensure process integrity

Prerequisites:

• Abgeschlossene mindestens zweijährige Berufsausbildung oder vergleichbares
• Kompetenz zur Analyse und Umsetzung produktionsnaher Aufgaben und Arbeitsabläufe
• Soziale Kompetenz und kommunikationsstarker Teamplayer
• Flexibilität und eine sorgfältige Arbeitsweise
• Spaß an praktischen Arbeiten mit technischen Maschinen zur Herstellung von Chemische Produkten
• Flexible Einsatzbereitschaft sowie Bereitschaft zur Schicht und Wochenendarbeit (Wechselschicht)
• Teamfähigkeit
• Grundkenntnisse in Deutsch wünschenswert (Wort und Schrift)
• Berufserfahrung im Produktionsbereich der Verfahrenstechnik wünschenswert
